David Matthews
Founder and Managing Director
David Matthews has a background as an entrepreneur, a lead investor in emerging investment funds,
and as a venture capitalist. As an entrepreneur, he launched several successful start-ups including
Intelecon and Green Mountain Dallas. He has led dozens of investments in early-stage teams, and brought the initial capital to launch emerging private
equity and venture funds such as Red River Ventures, Elm Creek Partners, Trailblazer Capital, and
RevTech Ventures.
Rachel West
Director of Business Development
At RevTech, Rachel leads the early stage investment team. Previously, she developed deep expertise as a management consultant in connected commerce and product development. She has served as both a founder and operator, starting and scaling a preventive health concept across TX and helping spearhead the national expansion of a college recruiting startup to to 800+ campuses.

Mike Barnes

Michael W. Barnes, also known as Mike, co-founded Fossil and was part of the management team that took it public in 1993. Afterward, he stayed on as President and COO of the company. Later, he served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Francesca’s Holdings Corporation as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Signet Jewelers Limited.
